Kent Corporation purchased the assets of Buckeye Manufacturing in 1998.
Kent entered the tube processing market in the 1990's with the acquisition of
the tube product line from Loopco Industries. This line includes deburring
machines, Turkheads,
dedimplers, and abrasive brush deburring machines. In 1994, Kent
Corporation acquired John Marshall Engineer, and the well-known
Burrmaster® brush deburring machine. Since that time, Kent has expanded
on the Burrmaster® brand of over 2,000 machines in the field by offering the
Burrmaster® to companies around the world. We continued to expand our line in
2001 when we acquired the exclusive distribution rights to the product lines of
Buckeye Manufacturing. Buckeye was a manufacturer of Brush Deburring machines,
Dedimple/Deburr Combination machines, Dedimple/Swage machines,
Dedimplers, ID Scarf Flush-Out machines,
and Roll Grooving machines. Kent is also
the largest distributor of wide-face wire
brushes for the brush deburring of tubes.
We also provide many systems to link the Burrmaster® deburring machine to any
cut-off device, whether it is a shear or a saw. Kent offers these link-ups for
medium speed (2,400 tubes per hour) to high-speed (4,000 pieces per hour)
cutting operations.
